ASTRID STEINSCHADEN | Piano

Astrid Steinschaden. She was born in Salzburg, Austria. She received her first piano lessons at the age of five with professor Anton Czjzek. She completed her undergraduate and master's studies at the prestigious Mozarteum University in Salzburg with honors, studying under professors Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and Cordelia Höfer. She pursued further studies with Stanislav Pochekin in Barcelona.

Astrid has won several international competitions both as a soloist and with chamber music groups, as well as an accompanist pianist. She performs in major festivals in Europe and the United States (Gstaad Sommets Musicaux, Berleburger Musikfestival, Società di Quartetto di Bergamo, Festival Max-Reger, etc.), and in famous venues such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Yamaha Center New York, the Vatican in Rome, Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Conservatory of St. Petersburg.

She regularly works as an accompanist pianist in international masterclasses -Internationale Sommerakademie Mozarteum, Curs Internacional de Música de Cervera, Internationale Musiktage Bad Leonfelden, Bayerischer Tonkünstlerverband, etc.- with renowned professors such as Thomas Riebl, Clemens Hagen, Leonidas Kavakos, András Keller, Igor Ozim, Gary Hoffman, and Laurentiu Sbarcea, among others.

Currently, she is a string and wind accompanist pianist at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona.
