EDUARDO MARTÍNEZ | Oboe course

Eduardo Martínez trained as an oboist in various European schools with Heinz Holliger and Thomas Indermühle. He has an intense orchestral activity with various ensembles, including the "Jove Orquestra Nacional d'Espanya," "European Community Chamber Orchestra," "Orquestra Simfònica del Principat d'Astúries," and since 1991, he has been the principal oboist of the "Orquestra Ciutat de Granada." He has also been a resident member of the Viennese avant-garde music group "Klangforum Wien."

In addition to his work as an orchestral musician, he has been and is a member of numerous chamber groups, covering a wide chamber and solo repertoire, from Baroque to avant-garde music. His great pedagogical dedication has led him to teach courses and masterclasses in different countries.

Since 1997, he has been regularly invited to teach at the "Cursos d'Especialització Musical de la Universitat d'Alcalá d'Henares," and has been an oboe professor at the "Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya" since 2001.
