Description
Natasha Tchitch. A Russian-born violist, she received her musical training for fifteen years in Moscow: at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. Her career as a violist began at the age of thirteen, taking lessons from Maria Sitkovskaya and Fiodor Druzhinin.
In 1998 she moved to Spain, where she obtained a position in the Galician Symphony Orchestra. From 2000 to 2003, she continued her training at the Reina Sofia School of Music, with professor Gérard Caussé.
Her activity as a soloist and chamber musician has taken her to perform at music festivals such as those in Gran Canaria, Santander, Sully, Verbier, Naples, Entrecasteaux and Montpeller, along with musicians such as Augustin Dumay, Gordan Nicolic, David Grimal, Isabelle Faust, Alain Meunier, Philippe Graffin, Pascal Moragues, and David Grimal, among others.
From 2003 to 2008, she was a member of the Orchestra of the Paris Opera. She performs in France and Spain with musicians from the young generation, forming part of groups such as the BandArt Orchestra in Spain and the Ensemble Dissonances in France. Since 2002, she has formed a string trio with violinist Tatiana Samouil and cellist Paver Gomziakov.
Among the awards received by Natalia Tchitch, the Special Prize of the Lionel Tertis Competition [England] and the Grand Prize of the International Viola Competition in Almaty stand out.
In 2004, she was appointed Assistant Professor of the viola class of Gérard Caussé, at the Paris Conservatory [CNSM]. She is currently a Viola Professor at Musikene [Higher School of Music of the Basque Country] and at the Katarina Gurska Higher Centre [Madrid].
